Dans la rue, Paris

Besides being a beautiful city, Paris is filled with elegant, fashionable and cool looking people. I could sit in a café just watching people passing by for hours and hours. There’s so much to see! Its nice to be surrounded by this scenario. Even a casual look means super chic in Parisian Fashion.

These are some photos I took of people in the streets.

Paris

I just came back from an amazing week in Paris, with my sisters. We arrived on Wednesday of last week and came back this Tuesday. Most of the time it was just me and my sister Ana, my other sister, Clara, was there only for two days. I’d say the best thing about these days is that we really got to live Paris.  We visited some places like the Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, the Pompidou, the D’orsey museum, the Louvre, Versailles (of course I got “home” that day and re-watched Sofia Copolla’s Marie Antoinette) and Le Moulin Rouge, but we also walked and “biked” a lot, got lost, found new places and observed the movement in the streets. There was no rush to see everything we’re “supposed” to see.

After two days going by the subway we tried the “public bicycles”, les velibs, and from then on that became our main transportation. We got to see a lot more of Paris because of it. Also I think it’s so much fun to ride a bike, especially in this city.

On Saturday, while we were in Versailles, walking through the enormous gardens, our dad called us and generously offered us a dinner at the Hotel Costes. The ambience at the restaurant was so cool, for the lack of a better word. The whole night I paid attention to the people passing by. Everybody dressed up like they were on their way to fashion week. Original, playful, different!

These are some shots my sister took before we left our hotel.

Lanvin movie

I found this clip today. I just kept hitting replay every time I finish watching it!! I love how they move kind of awkwardly, but in a cool way…does that make any sense?! Anyway, clothes, scenario and Alber Elbaz at the end makes for a very entertaining and refreshing video.

Detail

My room has been a total mess ever since I got back home, which was about a month ago. Yes, I know, talk about procrastinating! Now it’s finally (sort of) tidy. I bought this cute little bunny ring holder at Urban Outfitters and I brought it home from Florida. This was the first time I was in one of their stores and I loved it. The clothing was good but what really got my attention ware the accessories. The cameras, the books, the jokes, THE RING HOLDER, etc.

Meet Mocho, the owl. I love him!

I’ve been wanting to do a beauty post for a while now and I will, very soon. For now I’ll leave you with my current favorite perfume, from L’Artisan Parfumeur.
